We apologize for the delay but are thrilled that so many individuals are adding rain barrels to their garden plans. THANK YOU! *** Rain barrels are a wonderful tool for the natural gardener. They help prevent runoff while saving water for your gardens and adding a rustic touch to your landscaping. Standard Rain Barrels-SOLD OUT! These rustic, dark oak barrels with iron bands will hold 52 gallons of water. These barrels are in their third incarnation -- first starting off as whiskey barrels, then cask finishing a fine local ale. Since we are able to source these barrels locally, we pass the savings on to you. Fitted with spigot and filtered intake. All barrels include a half-barrel base. The base keeps your barrel off of contact with moist soil, provides stability, and elevates your barrel to make it easier to use with a hose or watering can. $110 plus delivery. Thank you for your interest and your support. These stunning barrels come to us from their Kentucky cooperage where they returned after serving as oak casks for aging fine wines! Each barrel has the stamp or plate from the French winery where it was used. The light oak barrels have beautiful stainless steel bands and hold approximately 65 gallons of water. The barrels are fitted with a spigot and filtered intake. The filtered intake is secured in place to keep out insects and debris. (Examples pictured below, spigot style may vary as we always work to find the best hardware for your barrel.) Price for our premium barrels has increased due to a near doubling in shipping costs (getting the barrels to us) thanks to rising fuel costs. We've done our best to keep prices affordable to enable you to use these in your gardens. A full set with a barrel and half barrel base is $225 delivered, plus tax. The half barrel base is an attractive way to make your barrel more functional. Sorry, we do not offer shipping on any of our barrels. Why are our barrel prices so low compared to other barrels on the market? Simple! Because we believe in helping households reduce their environmental impact.
